Heidi Osborne, Enrollment Coordinator
My name is Heidi Chew Osborne and I am a relatively new member of the Immaculate Conception School community. My husband, Mark, and I have four children - William, Susannah, April Claire, and Julia - who currently attend or who will attend ICS. We are members at St. Joseph Parish in Marblehead where I worked in the parish office for four years prior to starting as the Enrollment Coordinator at the school. Before we had children, I taught theology in Catholic high schools for ten years, first in Madison, Wisconsin, and then in Chardon, Ohio, and Sandusky, Ohio. I attended public schools in Pennsylvania where I grew up, and while I have been Catholic all my life, it wasn't until I attended the University of Dayton - a Catholic, Marianist institution - that my faith became an important part of my life. I saw how Catholic schools positively influenced my friends, and decided I wanted that for my children someday. I wanted what my husband and I are teaching at home, to be reinforced at school - faith, family, and morals.
My hobbies include gardening, reading, crossword & logic puzzles, baking, and camping. My undergraduate degree from UD is in Journalism and English, with a certificate in Lay Ministry, while my graduate degree is in Theology from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. I also have certification in Church Management from Villanova University in Philadelphia.
