Connie Snyder, Principal of Immaculate Conception School since 2012
I began my teaching career in third grade at St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Monroe, Michigan. I have been in education for over 23 years. I married Jim Snyder and moved to Port Clinton, OH and continued my teaching experience at Immaculate Conception School, beginning with second grade and over the years have taught sixth, fifth, fourth, art class, and writing classes.
I am the product of a Catholic Education, having been educated from grade three through college in Catholic schools. I graduated from St. Mary’s Academy High School in Monroe, Michigan and from Mary Manse College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and have since taken well over 300 hours in Continuing Education Units.
Being present in a Catholic School is a true blessing and one that I cherish daily. Guiding children in the traditions of our Catholic faith is of utmost importance to me.
Jim and I have two children, Kelly and Jim, and a grandson Carson.
