At ICS Port Clinton, we center learning on children’s needs: small classes; creative, hands-on activities; technology that enriches (rather than distracts!) from the curriculum; and religious instruction students can apply to their everyday lives. 

By combining Catholic spiritual formation with a rigorous academic curriculum, we develop students equipped to navigate the many challenges and opportunities of today’s changing world. Our rigorous academic instruction is based on the State of Ohio Standards and enriched with Diocesan religious indicators.

The ICS approach works! Since 2016, 100% of our third-grade students have met the requirements of the third-grade guarantee, a statewide program that identifies students who are on track for reading success by the end of third grade. Add in opportunities to participate in fine arts, service, and physical education, and our students receive a well-rounded education that helps them thrive in mind, body, and soul.
